We celebrated National Hot Dog Day with a dozen or so real (pork/beef) hot dogs, which plumped out rather nicely, overflowing their buns, and they were served with good brown mustard, chopped onions, some shredded cheese and my very own hot dog sauce (a little on the spicy side)…..made from a recipe that was the original sauce for NYS hot dogs upstate. And the whole meal fed 5 hungry people and came nowhere near costing $69.00!
