A commercial microwave (1800 watts) will explode a dog in 20 secondson max power. (trust me, lol) Does the paper towel help this out by absorbing the power before it hits the dog?

It’s a home (1175) watt model, and I start out with frozen dogs/sausages. I do not why it keeps them from exploding, but I discovered the method when cooking turkey/chicken dogs, which normally explode before they get thoroughly heated.
