Some places have made their deep fried dogs a signature item. Look up “Rutt’s Hut” on google to find out what kind of dogs they use. You may just end up selling a lot more dogs when word gets around if you decide to try this method.
 
DD’s suggestion of averaging what you sell and defrosting what you need is a good one too.
