You’ll have almost no chance of making it into the Allen Street Grill on a football weekend. The same goes for the Tavern. Why not take advantage of the fact that you’ll be there when it’s not crowded and eat at one of these two?
My biggest objection to Baby’s is not the price, but the corny atmosphere. You’ll get a much better burger at Hublersburg, Duffy’s or the Gamble Mill. Hublersburg might have the best burger in Pennsylvania.
If you want to eat downtown and a burger in more of a casual setting is what you’re going for, I’d pick almost any restaurant over Baby’s, including the Deli, the Diner or the Corner Room. Baby’s would basically be like going to a Johnny Rockets.
What part of “He’s Made A Decision” don’t you understand “Mr. Know-It-All about State College”. Just because you are the self-proclaimed expert on St. College doesn’t mean everyone has to accept or agree with your opinions.
