Creamery is incredible. Anyone who says otherwise works at another ice-cream stand in town. The milk comes from the campus cows, there’s nothing chemical about it.

You can slam Baby’s for it’s faux 50s theme (although the food is good), and Allen Street Grill is more about location than food, but don’t mess with the creamery.

BTW – late at night, I enjoyed a philly cheesesteak from CC Peppers. Probably not the healthiest thing.

And while not wildly incredible, I always leave town with a sub from the Penn State Sub Shop on E Beaver Ave, for some ride home grub.

A side trip took us to Doan’s Bones BBQ at the entrance to Whipple Dam State Park on rt. 26. A real bbq pit, the ribs are great. Seasonal shack, this is true roadfood.
