Anyone who is interested in Tex-Mex really should get Robb Walsh’s The Tex-Mex Cookbook.  It’s fantastic not only for the recipes, but for the history of Tex-Mex, and fierce defense of Tex-Mex as a unique regional cuisine, rather than just the bastard-child of “real” Mexican cooking.

 

I agree this is a great book. I haven’t bought it but have checked it out of the library 6 times in 3 years. Has some great bits of history and trivia.
