Waydeg, I moved to Frisco when there were still a half-dozen brothels here. The church people tried to keep Hooters out, even though there were once brothels where Hooters wanted to build. LOL
I’d love to see some dog carts in Dallas, and I think they would do well. But this town, especially the burbs, is Applebee’s and Olive Garden country. That’s what the developers want to see, because they make a lot of money off of these factory-style, cardboard tasting food stores. Developers own the area city councils.
One exception — there is a cart/trailer vendor just outside the exit doors of most of the Home Depot and Lowe’s stores near me. They cater to the blue collar guys picking up supplies, and grabbing a quick lunch. I don’t know if they make any decent money, or not. The food smells good, but I haven’t tried it — I’m just not there when I’m hungry.
