I was in the 3rd or? 4th grade and Elvis sang at one of the closed of the entrances to coliseum at the Rodeo in San Antonio. I don’t think he was famous yet??? I have heard little mention of this appearance. I was just a kid but was glued to the show! There was always a crowd around when he sang. I was at the rodeo all day every day since one of my relatives was working there. I do not remember how many times Elvis sang but it was more than once.

Oh, and maybe??? I saw Elvis at Shanghai Jimmy’s Chili Rice in Dallas. I say maybe because this strange guy came in and ordered his Chili Rice w/ sweet relish. I think it might have been Elvis but if so he was disguised. I learned years later that Elvis liked his chili rice w/ sweet relish. I am not sure what else he put on it but just remember the sweet relish. I am not sure what year this was. But… don’t believe everything you reed on the net. :~)
