A “Walkin’ taco” is not a taco. It’s a name someone came up with to describe what many know as “Frito Pie”. A bag of chips cut open longways and loaded with chili, cheese and onions and maybe jalapenos. You can kick it up with tomatoes, avocado, sour cream or whatever. I thin the sour cream with lime juice to make it flow from a squeeze bottle.
FWIW, I spent my first 50 years in CA and had a Mexican step-father. Any Mexican food I eat I will put SC, Avo, and Fresh Tomatoes on. And black olives.
No sprouts or cilantro.
