Interesting.  I usually go out to the Fountain for breakfast when I’m in London (my brother and s-i-l live walking distance  from there). 

… I’ll have to try the ice cream parlour.

Walking distance from F&Ms is one PRICEY address. Want to introduce me to your relatives please…?!?! (I’m a poor grad student in the UK!) [:)]

The ice cream at F&M is okay (admittedly been a long time since I have had it there) but ice cream in the UK is generally just so-so at best. Of course good gelati is around, but local ice cream is not great with a few small dairy exceptions. Then again, we can get Ben & Jerry’s here now (showing my age), so who can complain really?!?!
