When I was a journalism student at Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, I remember that I had to go to the Chicago Sun-Times newsroom for some reason or other, and I saw Roger Ebert there, in his distinctive trench coat.  I got to speak to him for a minute, and he couldn’t have been nicer.
