$7.49 for a 1/2lb burger and fries was cheap IMO but I could never eat a burger that big, even a 1/4lb burger is big to me.    People go through the drive-thru everyday and pay a lot for a bag lunch to eat in the car.   I want cheap fastfood, but if I want good food, I’ll go to a restaurant.
 
As compared to others,  I planned on mine being  the “best” burger this side of town 🙂
 
y’all got me to thinking about hamburgers and sandwiches. I can’t remember right off who suggested that I set prices for a lunch special and use other items as an upsell – a fantastic burger served with home fries, or soup and a sandwich reasonably priced would bring in customers.   That’s a better idea than  having  specials too cheap.
