Thanks! After posting, I thought my hopes were a little too specific, and started checking out maps and restaurants nearby. I found on the east end on our way to the trail (still in cars, just getting started) we come near Dough in a Box. They are a nice, independent doughnut shop.

So – we could start at the east end, grab coffee and a donut, then peddle west! Hmmmmm, I may not actually lose weight, lol, but we’ll have fun.
