I did not say that’s it’s no problem, just doable. But you are not being honest. A cart does not have to be all SS. Just the food prep area and in some cases not there since Corian is also a widely accepted Food prep surface and much cooler in the sun. We would not have any SS if our NC inspector had been more familiar with Corian and realized that it is approved for restaurant food prep area use (he wouldn’t look it up on the internet and my printer was messed up at the time so I couldn’t print off the Corian website page). Besides, any one can build their cart and then hire out only the SS. Sorry, but you give the impression that only someone who works with metal can build a metal cart or should even attempt it.
FYI, we have passed inspection on this cart (100% approval) in NC, NM (twice) and TX. This is a home built cart that was built by someone who had never really looked at a hot dog cart before.
