easydoesit–thank you!  The next time I’m anywhere near Lacrosse I’ll have to check it out.  We ate at one in a church in London and one in a church in Wales, St. David’s I think, that really had pretty wonderful food, and I just couldn’t figure out what cultural divide we must have that we don’t really have those.

Dawn–I have had tortes then, I think they just don’t call them that here or among my folks in MN.  Basically it’s all those back-of-the-jello-box creamy desserts.  The ones in this thread looked unbelievable.
