Can I say something about the 4 to 1 dogs? I think they may actually cost you customers, especially the women who are normally not big eaters. A 4 to 1 is allot of hot dog. I’m selling an 8 to 1 Vienna and everyone likes them, they present well in the bun and they are not so big that I cannot put toppings on them. In other words, the toppings stay on top of the dog (in the bun) and not falling into the laps of your customers. And if you are dealing with truck drivers, that is always one of their gripes, I know it was for me when I had my truck. Nothing worse than toppings falling all over my shirt, seat and floor.
Have you considered using an 8 to 1, and then up sell the 4 to 1 for say a buck more? I honestly believe that you would sell a few more dogs.

I sell the 8-1 Vienna in my small town spot and can’t hardly sell anything else. But on my college campus spot, I can’t sell anything but the 8″ 4-1 Vienna. I just offer both and let it go from there. I agree that having both might increase the amount of customers you have.
