We did eat at Hoopers cuz of traffic; mistakenly went over the bridge and did not want to face traffic to go back to Bahama Mamas. At Hoopers, we ordered 6 extra large hardshells; very meaty and seasoned just right. The rest of the food was not bad. Some fried chicken with dry meat inside, some mediocre rolls, some mediocre corn. But the crabs were good and that’s what we went for. ALso ate lunch at BJ’s which was mentioned on another thread; decent crab cake but not stellar. Kohrs frozen custard was billed as “light” which I don’t get since custard is supposed to be rich. It was ok. Ocean City< MD was too touristy for us.
Later in the trip ate crab cakes and onion rings at  Ship BOttom Shellfish on Long Beach Island, NJ, which were fabulous. My fav place.
thanks to all for info.
