Good story David O. —–and what are you doing in Alaska ?
I thought maybe some of the Alaskan Eskimos who came from Siberia
and traveled south to settle in Colorado had ties to you. But instead
we find you hanging out at the Ritz and running around like a chicken
with a high class fancy boss.
I came to Alaska from Wickenburg, AZ. My wife was sick of the oppressive heat. She also missed her family who are from Alaska and still live here. The economy in the lower 48 was tanking at the time and I had just been laid off. My in laws said that there was lots of work here. The second day I got here, I got a job at the place where I am currently working. Since I work 10 hours per day, 6 days a week, I don’t get too much free time to camp, fish or hunt etc…
