I totally get the kitchen gadget thing.  Although I rarely spend my own money on them, my family gets me absolutely everything under the sun as gifts.  Some of which are actually useful, most of which are not.  I don’t keep the crap, though…it goes in the garage sale pile.  I figure I’ll make someone’s day when they can pick up something that originally must have cost around $40-$50 for $5-$10…and then THEY can find out they wasted their money on it! [:D]
