Just yesterday we spent a few hours driving “off the map” on tiny rural roads thru the Litchfield area. We stopped for lunch at “Wood’s Pit BBQ and Mexican Cafe” ( I kid you not – that’s the name of the place). As we’d already had too big a breakfast in Farmington, we only had room enough to share a full rack of ribs at Wood’s (plus small portions of beans and coleslaw).
The ribs were meaty, juicy, falling-off-the-bone delicious. We highly recommend this joint – It is located on Bantam Lake Road in Bantam CT.
