Follow-up: we did indeed go to Green Acres and really enjoyed it, so thanks again, Littleman. It’s a great family-owned place – the latest in a series of restaurant outings in northeast Georgia going back fifty years – with good burgers and sides. It’s in a delightful middle-of-nowhere getaway in front of a nice field without a golden arch or gas station for miles, but only about two minutes from the interstate. I can imagine even the locals of Carnesville speeding right past the place, but I fully imagine roadfooders in the area would enjoy stopping in. The menu of the original Green Acres (from 1951) is a must-see!
