Apparently the original Australian version is even better (which wouldn’t surprise me at all).  But yes, it looks like it’s dead…at least on Fox, anyway.  The general plot and characters could easily be adapted to and probably amped up for a cable network, so perhaps it’ll get another chance somewhere.
