so, I went to take off the LP hose from my water heater and the connector snapped inside and now just is loose inside the unit. THIS CAN’T be a good thing. I assume it’s broken and there is NO way I’m connecting up to a tank to find out.
Now I have to replace a water heater, and the damn pump. I had to open a paypal claim to get my money back for the pump. I am about to freak the hell out if one more thing goes wrong or breaks. I guess it’s better to break now then on my first day.
I’m going to repost my last post for my no name hose kit thread too. I think it would be good here as well.
it’s always something with me and this build. Everything started so smoothly. Until I hit the gas lines. The last major leg. I went to northeastern supply & picked up a 36″ flex line for $15 !!! and a few connectors. I attempted to hook up the back end of the steamer, but the connector only turns 2 times, and there appears to be a slight gap between the regulator & the connector. Even though it’s a dry fit, I’m not sure it’s NOT gonna still leak if I wrap it.
I’m contacting the manfan of the unit, but they are only a help to an extent. The name on the regulator says Marshall Controls Inc. I haven’t had much come up when I did a search for them. UGH !!!
