This is actually an update on the Manchester half of my initial post.  It’s COSMIC Omelet, not as I mistakenly wrote “Sonic Omelet.”  (What constant travelling will do to you.)  Also, I just ate at Shady Glen.  They have made significant progress with the cheese.  Today’s was crispier and tastier.  I’m told that the Hartford Courant reported Monday that the problem arose when the Wisconsin cheese provider switched to milk from out-of-state cows!  I haven’t read the article yet but will later today.  You can never tell about those cows!  On each table, replacing last week’s notice about the need to develop a new provider is this notice:  “Our crispy cheese is part art and science, party mystery and magic.  We have a new distributor and the crispy cheese is delicious, but we will continue to tweak the recipe to its original perfection.”
