My mom mentioned it to me a couple of days ago that when she was pregnant in the 70s she loved the lemon pies from Bruce’s. I was racking my head thinking about them then I remembered when I was young in the 80s they did sell them. but the only one I remembered was the pecan pie. It was a clear-like wax paper wrapper with large red letters and inside was a small round aluminum pie tin with a miniature pecan pie. It was sooooooo delicious. I believe it was only a Texas thing. I tried looking them up online and the only thing I found was a site where some guy collected fruit pie wrappers. (can’t remember the site at this very moment) If anyone has seen them recently let me know.
