Bogue’s is very good!
I have always wanted to try Niki’s for breakfast.  I get so caught up in the lunch/dinner offerings there, I forget they also serve  breakfast!
Closer to Alabaster, here is another place I have wanted to try:

Fran’s is down the road at 3079 Pelham Parkway.  It serves breakfast, and has been there forever!  Since 1955, I think.
