No, Russ is exactly right.  Kevin Garnett did pretty much exactly the same thing, what, three years ago when he went to the Celtics specifically because he wanted a shot at a championship and he knew that playing with Paul Pierce, etc. in a larger market team would be his best opportunity.  But he didn’t draw it out, he didn’t schedule time on ESPN, and he engendered such genuine affection from the folks in Minnesota that a lot of Timberwolves fans were thrilled when Boston won.  So KG gave the shout out to ‘Sota right after they did.  *That’s* the way you do it.
