Ahh, Clifton’s. I remember it well as an 18 year old kid living in the downtown YMCA ($1.50 a night) while trying to become an actor back in 1958. We’d all go to Cliftons and they’d stamp your hand so you could go for more food without paying another .98 cents. Didn’t wash that hand for 3 days!
