Why are some reacting like you are proposing holding them in sewer water? Have you ever tried one done this way? We would cook them 3/4 way then hold in beef broth, then return to grill to finish. Juicy and perfect every time. I think you would be surprised how many times you may have eaten burgers made this way. It is an industry wide method of dealing with volume.
