Ditto on Mass. Ave. Also try Greek Islands across the [style=”background-color: #ffff99;”]Shapiro’s[/style] parking lot. One of my favorites is [style=”background-color: #ffff99;”]BARcelona Tapas[/style] @ 201 N. Delaware (Spanish). There is a lunch buffet there for $9 that is fabulous. Maxine’s Chicken & Waffles. Italian near downtown are Iaria’s and Milano Inn, both on S. College, very old family restaurants. Upscale Italian on S. Meridian — Iozzo’s. Inexpensive pizza and other goodies ordered cafeteria style on E. Market, just E of the circle — [style=”background-color: #ffff99;”]Giorgio’s[/style] — 25 yrs and counting — great salads, special of the day, etc.
My favorites in the City Market are Olivia’s, Jumbo’s, Grecian Garden.
Don’t miss one of the jewels of downtown — the [style=”background-color: #ffff99;”]Eiteljorg Museum[/style]. More interesting stuff for the kids is upstairs, start there; Indian and western paintings are downstairs.
