Thanks, Lynda, I always like to find a second opinion for anyplace I visit for the first time!
The Peking Restaurant did an outstanding job on our take-out meal. The Sezhwan (sp) Shrimp were great. 9 large bacon-wrapped shrimp in a spicy/sweet red sauce. Spicy but not a mouth-burner. The Mongolian Pepper Steak had the hot peppers that you could ‘control’ the heat by using smaller pieces of the pepper with the onion and beef pieces. Even the Pork Fried Rice was better than good, with lots of pork and veggies stirred in.
Smokey’s BBQ was OK. Better than most of the chain outfits, but not up to Brick Pit or Dreamland standards. The Brisket was a bit dry and they didn’t have ‘Ribs’ that evening…. So I felt left out ! Sides were OK.
