After passing by it so many times , I FINALLY tried Smokin’ Pig a few days ago.  Excellent!  Had the regular size pulled pork sandwich and the regular brisket sandwich.  Both were excellent!  Just as they used to do at the now closed GA Pig, they toast the rolls.  That earns bonus points in my book.  So many BBQ places have very good BBQ and lousy mushy rolls for the sandwiches.  Toasting them makes them so much better.   The bbq itself is terrific (with or without a roll).  For sides, I had a baked beans and the mac & cheese.  The baked beans vere very good, with bits of sweet onion mixed in.  The mac & cheese was nothing special, and was a bit mushy (I’m a fan of very firm, if not crunchy, mac & cheese.)

Smokin’ Pig  will now be on my I-95 regular stop list.
