Waydeg, do you have people that only want dogs and no drinks or chips? If so do you adjust your minimum price?
I’ll quote it about any way they want. If they want to buy the food and let me cook it, my $275.00 is for “equipment rental” and that’s for a 3 hr rental.
Normally, my catering gigs are more upscale. IN TEXAS (and I make a point of this due to a past thread) there are few if any places to get an authentic Vienna Beef Chicago style hot dog, Maxwell St Polish or a natural casing Sabrett with Sabrett red onion sauce. That being the case, I can name my price for Midwesterners and New Yorkers who are longing for a taste of home. Getting these products shipped to Texas cost me more than the Sam’s Club or Restaurant Depot all beef hot dog. It’s business 101 – supply and demand with a reputation for a significantly superior product.
If you own the only gas station in town you can dictate the price of gas.
