I probably spend $50-60 a week on food. Just me, and I like to eat fresh also, so it’s easy for me to keep expenses down. A pound of broccoli crowns or green beans for $1.50 goes a long way, and I can get chicken breast for under $2 a pound most Sundays at the grocery down the street.
I did get a book full of restaurant coupons for Christmas, so I will probably be eating out more this year, but likely just the places that serve things I don’t cook for myself at home very often, if at all. Buy one get one free meals and whatnot.
