Tasty Dog, try a sperate burner. I use a Camp Chef double burner cooker. It can fit two half pans nicely, we use one to simmer dogs and the other for buns. Our cart only has one full size pan and this seems to make some extra space.

Unfortunately, I only have enough space for 1 half pan. The other is full pan divided into 2/3 perforated steam for holding dogs and steaming buns an 2 1/6 pans for chili and cheese. I have about the smallest cart you can have. Boy, I really wanted those spicy hot links on my menu.
