One other thing.
My sausage takes about 30 minutes in the steamer to come up to 165, that’s when I taste tested the hot Italian and they were not good. Maybe if I had left them for two hours before testing they would have been fine, just thought you should know that.
Also I will repeat, I don’t think you even need a bag, unless it increases hold time. My dogs still taste like dogs after steaming with the sausage.
