Of course it’s worth it. you might learn something you didnt think of. I am a trained catholic bishop, this does not mean I know everything about my field, I still take courses and read books because I can learn something I didnt know yet. pointers and tips and all kinds of things. worse comes to worse, you have a nice time and meet new people. maybe even make some connections too.
