When newbies ask for advice on getting started, we talk about health dept., what you can serve, contacting state, etc. I still think the number 1 course of action is to check the local area in which you intend to sell to see if they allow street vendors. NUMBER 1! Only after you have done this can you even think about health codes, menus and choosing a trailer. You might have trouble in these areas, but you have real trouble if you have nowhere to sell.
Sorry lapdog. I know this is redundit to you, but I’m just trying to get everyone to instruct new people on the order of priorities.

I agree Jerry, I would pick the spot, and find out how Cart friendly my town is first. I don’t want the city throwing a wrench in my spokes every step of the way………………..I would look at private property strip malls that go back 100 feet from the street,, car washes, there are a lot of private places to set up a cart 100′ from the road, they may not see the cart, but they for sure could see a ”sign’. you need to think outside the box, sell your idea, it may take some thinking………..Bill
