I insist on plastic bags for my groceries and paper bags for my wine. I use the paper bags for recycling my newspapers each week, and I use the plastic bags for — well, I don’t use them for anything at all. But I’ll be damned if I’ll do anything of which the green nuts might approve.

Hint: Paper bags are made from paper that is made from the pulp of trees planted specifically for making paper. No forests are destroyed to make paper.
