I came up with a way that I did not have to touch the food so that I did not have to put on gloves to handle money. I use tongs ( I have a pair for everything) to even grab the buns from the bags and put them into the steamer, I use tongs to grab the dogs from the cooler into the boiler. Tongs for everything, and it seems to work great, though I do keep gloves on hand, just in case.
