Western New York’s most popular beer. When my Uncle returned from four years of fighting in WW-ll this is all he wanted …….. The year they stopped brewing this brand he died of complication from a wound he receiver at the Battle of the Bulge the worst battle in terms of
losses – to the American Forces in WWII. …I can remember Western New York, this beer, and a thing called a "peach basket" which I used when I ran across the street to the saloon to get it filled with ice cold Iroquois Beer for my dear uncle………… I was 6 years old and no ID or money was required, every one knew who the beer was for. The factory workers (his old friends) that sat at the bar would buy the beer and fill my peach basket.

Good things come and go and being able to remember them is a gift.
