The military is always a great source of not so normal names. I always liked the names that fit the job. Over the years in the Navy I knew:

Petty Officer Petty
Seaman Seaman
Lt. Officer (a doctor)
Petty Officer Marine (ok wrong service, but still)
And then there was Lt(jg) J.G. Gee!

I think Bob Newhart  played Major Major in Catch 22.  When I was on active duty there was another recruit whose last name was Peace.  It was funny seeing ‘U S Army’ over one pocket of his uniform with ‘Peace’ over the other pocket.  This was during the Vietnam conflict which made it especially odd.
