The lard is rendered! That was the easy part!
Not sure if the evaporated milk is supposed to be diluted with some percentage of water to reach the total volume of “milk” needed or reach the total volume needed with evaporated milk alone.
I think it’s supposed to be 50/50 evaporated milk with added water to reach total volume in recipes…that are not doughs.
