Wow, that pie looks fabulous! Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook, eh? I have a Better Homes & Gardens illustrated cookbook of roughly the same vintage. I’ll check it to see what their recipe looks like. Not that I can make the crust, you understand . . .
My Mother’s cookbook is copyright 1950. I made the crust like my Mother’s. Used the Betty Crocker recipe for the filling……..then just slice some ripe bananas and whip heavy cream with powdered sugar.
