I am not to familiar with the Emerald Isle end of the island but try the Ruddy Duck Tavern in Morehead City, right next to the Sanitary Restaurant.

Also the Shark Shack and the Watermark retaurant in Atlantic Beach are also very good.

My favorite restaurant in Beaufort is the Spouter Inn.
