Am I the only guy whose mother would fry eggs down to parade rest till a kid like me would despise fried eggs? ….. I must say I never had eggs prepared to an edible condition till I joined the Navy…. I can remember my first breakfast in the Navy when walking through the chow line and the mess cook asked me how do you want your eggs… damn I never knew I had a choice….  I heard the sailors in front of me say “over easy”  and I said the same…. I’ve been loving eggs ever since,  just salt & pepper on top
