Do you think a reservation is needed at Buckhorn? I’ll be there in a couple weeks, probably on a Sunday night.
Thanks.danimal, I consider you to be one the many good guys who frequent this great forum. In the past, whether or not you realize it, you have helped me with questions I have had with spots, in and around Chicago.
So it is with great pleasure that I have an opportunity to return the favor !
Yes, by all means. Secure a reservation. Especially, during the tourist season in the summer, regardless of night.
Here is Buckhorn’s phone number. 303-534-9505.
Welcome to Denver.
I just took your advice and made the reservation. I’ll let you know about our experience there after we get back. Thanks again.
You are very welcome !
I think if you summon up the courage to order the Rocky Mountain Oysters, you will be in for a very pleasant surprise….. very tasty. IMO, some of the best RMO’s are served up at the Buckhorn. For most people, it’s the first time and then it’s a must thereafter, kind of like ordering fried pickles for the first time. Once you get past the thought, it becomes a must order.
Not sure if you have ever been to the Buckhorn before. But take advantage of the full adventure, and head upstairs to tour the old bar and all the pictures and animal heads that are up there too. Kind of like a minnie museum of the Old West.
