You won, the cart was yours. The seller should not have sold it. Did you pay for it already?
I buy a lot of stuff from eBay. I am also a seller. Some sellers are good. Others are bad. I’ve only had one bad experience. I bought our commercial pour over coffee maker off an auction REALLY CHEAP. I had changed my PayPal/eBay shipping address a few hours earlier from TX to NM. Tow companies ended up with my TX address. One had no problem when I sent a correction email a few minutes after paying for the item. I got their stuff just fine. The other jerk contacted me via his “Blackberry” and said he would change the shipping address. Then he had a “death in the family” and couldn’t ship right away (although he got paid right away). Took almost 6 weeks to ship out. Then he shipped to TX not NM. Fedex couldn’t let me change the ship to address, he had to do it from his end. And he wouldn’t. I ended up having to contact eBay about it (Resolution). Finally, after several calls to the campground in TX that we had been in over the winter, the coffee maker ended up sitting in limbo in Corpus Christi. That’s when Fedex allowed me to change the shipping (Fedex said they had no record of him contacting them about an address change). I finally got the coffeemaker almost 2 months after I paid for it. I am NOT happy with eBay resolution process. All I could see from my end is I complained… he said he shipped to the Paypal address… I sent ebay ALL the emails documenting my contact with him…. then nothing. I closed the case file because I finally got my coffee maker… And he changed his eBay name to “Shipsfaster”… Unbelievable!!
Would I buy from eBay again… yes! Would I buy from “Shipsfaster” again NO!!!!
