I still have the Technics SL-B200 turntable I bought in 1985 but I haven’t used it for a few years because it needs a cartridge.

I bought it as a floor demo and found out later that the cartridge retaining screw was missing so I went to a record store in the Edgebrook mall in Rockford IL to see if they had something.  The attractive young lady behind the counter brought out a box of odds and ends and I did manage to find one, so on my way out of the store I called back to her, “Thanks for the screw!”

I recall that the store got very quiet right about then.[:I]
