Going to college in Providence RI, the nightly trek to the “trucks” was a big thing. There were 3 or 4 across from the college green. One making a decent living serving hotdogs steamed in BEER!  How could that lose on a  college campus?  One other truck offered, in the local semi-ethnic tones, “Grrr-ind-DAHS”.  Oh Gawd…..such a downfall, especially the Ham-Bug-Gah Grrrrrr-ind-dah forced down with a frappe (milk shake with I/C for you non New Englanders)
 
they also stayed late most nights until 11 or 12 and weekends to 1 or better, offering the illustrious “cure” to tomorrow’s hangover
